Usability is much more than enabling blind people to read a website. It can be very subtle, and it goes to the heart of how to create quality content.

Re-size Photos for web optimisation
http://www.webresizer.com/resizer/
This online tool helps you make your photos the right size for the web. Its pretty important that web authors know how to edit an image, and that they do so before uploading it to the web server. Some people dont have image editing software, or for whatever reason cant spend the time to learn to use it. You upload a photo & then crop, apply filters etc, and resize.

Website Promotion (to Engines and Directories)
Self Promotion - http://selfpromotion.com/
A valuable tool to help you promote (increase the rank of) your website. I use this for almost every new site I complete. There are lots of websites and individuals that claim to do wonderful things ... this site has all you need to know. It's been around for many years, and it doesnt have a fancy modern design, but it is packed with the very best information on how, and where to promote your site. Most of the online tools can be found elsewhere, but their main promotion tool is well worth the donation.
